Who am I?

Maggie McKenzie is a registered BAS Agent based in Mandurah. With many years of practical knowledge of bookkeeping, Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation and accounting software, Maggie really understands the challenges of being a small business owner, especially the compliance requirements of not only the ATO & ASIC, but also Single Touch Payroll (STP) and Superannuation Guarantee.

She has run several businesses with her husband, and their business partners. Through necessity, Maggie learned bookkeeping for their businesses. Friends asked her to guide them with their bookkeeping, then she realised she was actually running her own bookkeeping business.

Maggie completed her Advanced Diploma of Accounting to register as a BAS Agent, including learning corporate law to become an ASIC Agent. Her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment taught her the finer points of education. Committed to continuous improvement, Maggie also has completed Certificates IV in both Frontline Management and Conservation and Land Management.

As a qualified Trainer and Assessor, Maggie’s expertise in Product Education will ensure you understand all facets of your business accounting software and financial reports. Maggie’s goal is to create a simple and effective process from invoicing your customers, paying your suppliers and employees, and to reporting to the business owner and ATO, so bookkeeping will become an asset and not merely an expense.

Maggie is much more than just a qualified bookkeeper, she is a valuable bookkeeping software specialist and educator.

Maggie doesn’t believe in preaching it, she prefers teaching it! She and her staff will even do it for you, so you can focus on your areas of expertise in your business. If you’ve made a mess of your books or if you haven’t touched your books for a while, Maggie loves bringing order out of chaos and implementing solutions.

Maggie is a wife, mum, nanna and friend whose passion lies in product education, whether teaching a classroom of students, or working one on one with a business owner and their employees.

In any spare moments, you’ll find Maggie with fabric and thread creating  clothes, quilts and embroidery or running around after her two gorgeous granddaughters.
